Koi Fish Pin

Solder a koi fish pin or one of several designs during class and practice sweat soldering, soldering on pin backs, using firescale preventative fluxes and adding a patina of shimmering colors to copper. Hone your craft and bring art to your soldering with this course with the author of Soldering Made Simple. Note: other patterns besides the koi fish will be available during class that will teach the same techniques. Materials required.

Prerequisites:

Basic Soldering and Basic Metalsmithing. Please note that this is a course for students who have previous recent practice: sawing, filing and soldering precious metals. Fusing or using low-temp solders are not equivalent experience.
