Forging is a fundamental skill for forming metals - taper, wedge, twist and change the shape of metal with hammering.
Argentium sterling silver makes forging metal a pleasure. It’s more malleable than copper alloyed sterling, doesn’t create unsightly fire stain when you anneal it and you can fuse it!
With this duet of 2 rings, learn the basic metalsmithing skill of forging as you flatten, taper, twist scroll round Argentium wire into new forms. Plus, everything you learn while making these lovely miniatures can be expanded into other pieces, like necklaces and bracelets.
