Stone setting is synonymous with jewelry - bezels, prongs and more! This three day retreat will guide you through three great techniques for setting cabochons and faceted stones, big and small: bezel setting, prong setting and tube setting. Make a suite of three beautiful pendants and polish your settings during class. Use of tools included. The kit includes your materials for making your settings from scratch. Bring your own stones to set or stones available for purchase at the retreat.

• Filing
• Stone Setting
• Soldering
• Polishing with Power Tools

Kit of materials, full color handout and use of tools included.
Kit includes sterling wire, sheet, tubing and solder to make the three sample projects. Also includes stones for the prong setting and tube setting projects.


Previous experience soldering precious metals required, like successful completion of a basic soldering course, like Intro to Soldering, Art of Soldering or Basic Jewelry. Please note that fusing or low-temp soldering, like for stained glass, is not equivalent experience.
