Foldforming is a fantastic technique for turning sheet metal into dramatically textured forms, like cuffs, stars, flowers and leaves. This technique combines origami and metalwork to make beautiful surfaces on jewelry by repeatedly folding and unfolding metal sheet in different patterns. Anat will also demonstrate how to add more texture with some of her favorite tools.
Students will learn the techniques for folding, forging, and annealing as they make a fold formed cuff, earrings, pendant and more in this fun 1 day workshop.
