Imagine setting stones in clay and firing them into pure silver with the stones in place! Create jewelry with bezels, flush settings and prong settings with home studio friendly tools materials.
Arlene Mornick will be your guide. Setting stones in Metal Clay can be tricky and if not done properly, stones may shift during firing or even fall out! She will teach you the tips and tricks that will shortcut your path to success!
In this class students will learn and practice 6 techniques for accurately and securely setting and firing in place both cabochon and faceted stones.
Each stone will be set in a shaped and textured link to create a stylish bracelet. To finish the bracelet students will make a bar and toggle clasp.

A kit fee of $65 is due the first day of class, paid to the instructor. All tools for the class are available for each student to use.
