Class Instructor: Courtney Gray

Courtney Gray

Courtney Gray has spent more than 25 years shaping metal, shaping makers, and shaping conversations inside the jewelry industry. She is a custom jeweler, educator, podcast host, industry advisor, and creative business mentor known for helping artists move from scattered effort to intentional momentum.
She entered metalsmithing in 1998, built and sold two metalsmithing schools in Austin, and helped train more than 25,000 students along the way. She hosted and produced the first four seasons of Rio Grande’s For the Love of Jewelers podcast and now leads her own show, The Jeweler’s View, where she brings together lived experience, industry perspective, and grounded business guidance.
Through her one-on-one coaching and her Transform program, Courtney helps jewelers refine their voice, strengthen their business practices, and move forward with direction and purpose.
She also continues to design custom pieces that honor personal stories through engagement rings, heirloom remakes, and meaningful commissions.
Her core message to makers: Your creative work has depth, and your business can rise to meet it.
