Class Instructor: Mark London
Mark London, a popular and regionally well-known, international award-winning jewelry designer, was born in San Francisco and raised in Napa, California.
His background includes a Graduate Gemologist Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America and formerly he became one of the first 300 Certified Gemologist Appraisers from the American Gem Society.
Mark served as the Secretary and elected president of the Northern Californian Guild of the American Gem Society in the early 1990’s.
As a goldsmith in Napa, the bay area and southern Oregon, Mark London has drawn, carved and engraved, fabricated, cast and CAD designed thousands of jewelry pieces for as many happy customers over the decades and he now lives and works in Brentwood, California (in the east bay area about 50 miles from San Francisco).
His interest in computers and technology, attracted Mark to work in computer aided design in 2006 and he is now an expert in several CAD software platforms and a certified instructor for 3Design – Jewelry Design Software, currently the worlds largest selling jewelry CAD software.
