John Underhill, originally from Detroit, has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for close to 15 years. He works as a freelance contract jeweler for retailers, wholesalers and private clients, making original jewelry and repair work.
He has been making jewelry for over 20 years and has enjoyed a balanced career within the industry, having worked as an bench jeweler for a high volume wholesale fabricator for online retailers, and currently owns his own business in Berkeley.
John has logged thousands using a Laser Welder over the course of more than 10 years. He enjoys sharing his experience and tips for using this technology to grow your jewelry craft.
