Class Instructor: Tania Skevos

Tania Skevos

A multi-disciplinary artist, the Tania Skevos line of goods includes jewelry, sweaters, hats, quilts, rugs, ceramics, and whatever else she feels like getting into. Her work is built on a lifetime of collecting, seeking, and continuous experimentation with a variety of techniques and materials. Her greatest inspiration is her drive to create exciting and unexpected combinations of color and texture.

Beaded works are stitched with Japanese and Czech glass, using traditional weaving techniques to create unique modern designs. Color patterns in beadwork, quilts, and knits are improvised during the making process and most pieces are one of a kind.
