Description
Rouge is a fine polishing abrasive compound that comes in a few variations for different metals. Red rouge is a good compound for polishing all metals, but can leave a greasy residue. Green and black rouge are made for white metals like silver and platinum. Yellow rouge is good for gold. All rouges are used with felt buffs, muslin or bristle wheels for your final step towards making a mirror finish. When using rouge with felt buffs you should increase the speed of the motor to keep the buff from stopping, and because the rouge works better at a slightly faster speed. 1 lb. bar, which will last a long, long time.
