Description
These thin, fragile disks are made of silicon carbide, like the abrasive glued on sandpaper. Use a single disk with a screw mandrel to cut through metal, like wire, or to make texture.
Stack 4 or 5 together on one mandrel to make an effective mini-grinder to shape your piece and remove excess metal. Sold by the box because they break easily.
Definitely wear eye protection, and be gentle when you tighten the screw. Use on the edge of the wheel only. Leaves a smooth surface that is easy to clean up with a white silicone wheel. Be careful not to overdue it with this tool - it’s very abrasive!
