Another tool invented by master jeweler, Jay Whaley, the Large WHIP (wire handle instrument for pouring) makes a lot of sense when using small melting dishes. Made of stainless steel. The spring action keeps good tension to assure the user that melting dishes will not slip. Total length is 9-3/4".
Comes with 2 ceramic melting dishes of fused silica for melting precious metals in temperatures up to 2,800°F:
