In this class learn all about textured bezels- from patterened strip, patterned wire, and making your own texture, from thick wall to thin wall, this class covers it all. We will be covering from fabrication to finish at least two pieces that will have you confident and on your way with textured bezels.

About our interactive online classes
This class is online and uses the Zoom app/website. Through Zoom, you’ll be able to see demos and follow instructions, ask questions and interact with your instructor. Zoom is easy to use and free for students to use for class, and works on most devices, like phones (iphone, Android, etc), tablets (iPads, etc), and computers (Mac or PC).
This course meets for 2 weeks, 3 hours per week, for a total of 6 hours. Your instructor is also available during free Zoom office hours for questions and help.
Each class is also recorded and available for students to watch later, to review instructions or in case you missed a class.
Students work at home or in their studio. All of our recommended tools and the kit materials are chosen to be home studio friendly. We always choose the safest materials, chemicals and tools for you and the environment.

Soldering setup- soldering surface, pick, pickle and pot, third hand, flux and applicator
Hard and medium solder
Half round hand file
Needle file set of 6
Flexshaft or dremel
Chain nose pliers
round/flat forming pliers
Half round/flat forming pliers
Goldsmiths, chasing, or riveting hammer
Bezel mandrel or mini horn anvil
Ring clamp, Universal holder or similar to hold pieces while setting
1mm drill bit
Cabochon stone 10-20mm (no sharp corners)
A computer, phone or tablet to use the free Zoom app for class
Class policies for refunds, transfers and cancelations.
Basic jewelry skills- sawing, drilling, filing, soldering, and polishing are required. Students should have made and set at least one cabochon in a bezel before taking this class. Jewelry 1 will give you all of these skills.
