Have you taken several classes and are now wondering how to put all these new skills together? Maybe you’ve been making jewelry for a while and want to focus and hone your ideas, maybe you like so many different things you don’t know how to bring them all together- this class is for you!

In this class students will learn to define and explore their artistic voice, and create a series of works that are all related and further their individual goals. Through group exercises, demonstrations, and one-on-one coaching, students will design and create the body of work in their chosen media- fabrication, casting, enamelling, beadwork, metal clay.

This class is for intermediate to advanced students who are comfortable with their chosen media.

Techniques taught:

  • Design exercises and creativity prompts
  • How to look at your work and analyze your visual aesthetic
  • How to troubleshoot and adapt your designs to reflect your aesthetic
  • Refining your aesthetic and visual vocabulary
  • Incorporating a variety of techniques together in pieces
  • Order of operations for your chosen skills and materials
  • Critical thinking about your ideas and function of your pieces
  • Furthering your technical skills

This course is available as an in-person workshop or live online class. Please check this page for times and formats available.
