Learn the basics of jewelry in this workshop: sawing, filing, sanding, soldering and polishing with power tools - everything you need to get started with jewelry. Students explore their new skills through guided projects that include piercing a pendant and soldering an overlay ring.

Drop in on any of the basic jewelry courses, in any order. All three offer training on different and overlapping fundamental skills for making jewelry. All three basics courses are designed for beginners and continuing students.

• Sweat Soldering
• Polishing with Power Tools

Kit of materials, full color handout and use of tools included. 

Available as either a weekend workshop or a 4 session course, usually in the evenings. See dates and times below for current offerings.
