Join enamelist Martha Banyas as she talks about her use of personal history and experiences to create visual narratives. When creating narrative work, these are important and powerful elements.
Martha shares her experience and process on how to develop ideas—from thumbnail sketches, through finished drawings, color renderings and on to fabricating the piece in metal and enamel. She will also be talking about various enameling techniques, engineering the dimensional aspects of the pieces and hanging mechanisms!
