Learn how to make a revolving ring - two rings in one! A wide, textured, band ring with a revolving ring on the outside. You can spin it, fidget with it or roll it to your heart’s content. Students will learn how to make a ring from scratch, including forming, sizing, and more.
This class is from 10am - 12:30pm, and 2:30-5pm with a 2 hour break in between.

• Using dapping punches
A kit of materials is included with this class. Registered students receive a class kit by mail, shipped to the address used for registration. Please be sure to contact us at the time of registration with any updates re: where you want your kit shipped.
A handout is included with the class. A pdf of the handout is sent to students before the first day of class.

About Our Interactive Online Classes
This class is online and uses the Zoom app/website. Through Zoom, you’ll be able to see demos and follow instructions, ask questions and interact with your instructor. Zoom is easy to use and free for students to use for class, and works on most devices, like phones (iphone, Android, etc), tablets (iPads, etc), and computers (Mac or PC).
Each class is also recorded and available for students to watch later, to review instructions or in case you missed a class.
Students work at home or in their studio. All of our recommended tools and the kit materials are chosen to be home studio friendly.

A steel dapping set with punches or a set of steel punches
Heavy household hammer or brass hammer
Wide band finger gauges
Griffith Silver Black patina
Sterling solder (hard, medium and easy)
A computer, tablet or smartphone with the free Zoom app to join the class
In addition to these tools, the students will need the basic tools (saw, files, hammer, soldering tools, etc.) from the Jewelry 1 - Basics workshop.

This class is open to beginners who have had some experience with soldering and basic fabrication, like successful completion of an Introduction to Soldering or Jewelry 1 - Basics workshop (online or in-person).
