Add more color to your pieces and make your details pop with patinas! Patinas allow you to not only darken the recesses in texture, but also to change the color of the surface of your metal.
In this one day class with Jenn Parnell, you will learn about a variety of patinas that you can produce with heat, chemicals and more. Topics covered include: Application methods for patinas, surface preparation, chemical basics, mixing patinas, how patinas interact with different metals, how to make the most of patinas, finishing, and sealing.

• Demonstrations of a variety of patinas for sterling, brass and copper for black and some colors
Kit of materials and use of tools included. The rest of your materials and use of tools are included with your class fees. Each student has a bench of their own to use during the workshop, ant it’s fully equipped with your own soldering station, flex shaft and a complete set of tools.
