After learning the basics of enameling, it's fun to push the boundaries and break the rules to create special effects, like wavy, undulating textures, and causing the enamels to separate to make lines and spontaneouspatterns.
Anat will demonstrate how to use liquid enamels. These fluid enamels can be applied in a very different way than normal powdered enamels. She will show how to use them on steel and copper, as well as how to combine them with techniques like sgraffito and graphite, which look different on liquid enamel.
Students will also learn how to use separation and krackle enamels, and more to create bold and colorful surface effects that bring designs to life. Create wall pieces, jewelry and even cabochons to set.
