Join us at our free monthly JewelryTalk, a series inspired by jewelers talking about jewelry, whether it's their own, historical, techniques or whatever moves them.
This month we're happy to host Anne Havel, who is here to teach two workshops. An independent studio artist for over 15 years, Anne Havel’s enameled and lamp worked jewelry has been included in numerous exhibitions, collections, and publications.
Anne is an enamelist, metalsmith, and lampworker (she makes glass beads). She is especially well known for her torch fired enamels.
She is inspired by many of the abstract painters, space objects and creatures from her imagination, molecular level shapes, geometry, clay artists, building structures, flowers, etc.
During the talk, Anne will share details about her art, her inspirations, what she wants to convey to the viewer through her designs and medium, and her process.
Talk begins at 7pm, Q&A, mingling after until 9pm. Register to let us know you're coming. The talk, fun and mingling are free!
This is a free talk. It's open to the public. All are welcome.
