Join renowned artist Matthieu Cheminée for an in depth introduction to the world of stamping and stamp making!
In this class students will learn to choose the right kind of steel and make a minimum of 6 hardened steel stamps that will last a lifetime! Learn to create your own unique patterns and shapes with the steel including a two part embossing die stamp.
Then we will learn all about how to use the stamps effectively to not only create a single impression, but also using the stamps to great a tesselation pattern. Learn foolproof stamping technique for the perfect impressions everytime.
Students will not only make the series of stamps in this class, they will use those stamps to create a cuff bracelet from 14ga metal with their own designs.
- Recognizing and choosing the correct steel

A kit of materials is included with this class and will be mailed to you.
Online students will have kits mailed to them. International students may be charged an additional amount for shipping, because of the increased cost to ship abroad. About Our Interactive Online Classes
This class is online and uses the Zoom app/website. Through Zoom, you’ll be able to see demos and follow instructions, ask questions and interact with your instructor. Zoom is easy to use and free for students to use for class, and works on most devices, like phones (iphone, Android, etc), tablets (iPads, etc), and computers (Mac or PC).
This course meets for 3 days, each day has a 3 hour morning and afternoon session and a 1 hour break, for a total of 18 hours.
Each class is also recorded and available for students to watch later, to review instructions or in case you missed a class.
Online students work at home or in their studio. All of our recommended tools and the kit materials are chosen to be home studio friendly. Links to preferred vendors are provided in the supplies list sent after registration.
