Learn how to set a stone on top of another stone! This class demonstrates how to drill stones and prepare seats for a second stone setting to be inserted. Not just one setting - two in one!
Techniques taught:
• Designing your setting
• Choosing appropriate stones to drill
• Drilling stones
• Fabricating a second setting that will connect to the setting holding the first stone
• Securing the two stones together
• Troubleshooting your settings
Kit of materials, full color handout and use of tools included. Each student has a bench with a complete set of tools to use during class. Stones for making the sample projects included.

Prerequisites:
Students should have prior basic jewelry fabrication experience, like successful completion of a Basic Jewelry 1 workshop that included sawing, filing, soldering and bezel setting.
