Techniques taught:
• Sawing
• Annealing
• Foldforming (one kind of fold)
• Techniques for adding texture to metal
• Patina

Why take this class?
Use fold forming and the texture techniques taught in this class to enhance your jewery designs. You can combine this class with basic skills to make a beautiful fold formed texture, and add stone settings, like bezels, as taught in the Basic Jewelry workshops. Use this technique to make adjustable size rings, like a mini cuff. Fold your metal design to make lightweight earrings that you can wear as hoops, posts or dangles, if you combine this class with techniques learned in Earrings: Hoops and Posts. This a great technique to either make your jewelry more unique or to make fast, fun jewelry.
